About the course
The aim of the course is for students to acquire basic knowledge in developmental psychology and be able to apply this in the field of sports and health. The course focuses mainly on development from infancy to aging from different perspectives, where biological, cognitive and socio-emotional aspects are included. Genetic, environmental, cross-cultural and gender perspectives on development in general and in sports will also be discussed. The course also covers different research perspectives and study methods in the field of developmental psychology that are also relevant in sports and health. The course is given in English.
