The course is given for exchange students within the dentistry programme, during the 8th semester.

Diagnostics, treatment and etiology of pathologic conditions of the dental pulp and the periradicular tissues.
Disease factors of the dental pulp and the periradicular tissues that can affect the proposed treatment
Assessment of the prognosis of patient cases that shall be treated and how to evaluate the final treatment result.
Identification of the need of suitable additional measures after the endodontic treatment.
Assessment of patient cases that ought to be referred to a specialist.
Endodontic treatment in the clinic.
