About the course
The course is divided into two modules:
Module 1: Theory and method, 4.5 credits  
This module studies metaphor and metonymy, two basic processes and concepts in cognitive linguistic research on emotion concepts, from a theoretical and methodological perspective. Particular attention is paid to differences between emotion concepts. Furthermore, this module deals with historical changes in the meanings of words for emotions and emotion concepts. In this course, students are trained to describe emotion concepts from these points of view.
Module 2: Individual assignment, 3.0 credits 
In this module, students will carry out a practical application of the theories and methods discussed in Module 1.
