GIS for Planning 15 credits
About the course
This course provides in-depth knowledge and skills in geographical information systems (GIS) as it relates to planning. Topics covered in the course include spatial statistics, suitability analysis, network-based modelling and 3D visualization and analysis. The course employs problem-based learning to teach students how to put their GIS skills into practice. The main software used is ArcGIS Pro, complemented by computer-aided design (CAD) applications and Web GIS solutions.
