There are several possibilities to be awarded a scholarship for non-European students on the Umeå master programmes in public health. These scholarships cover the tuition fees (and also living expenses for the Swedish Institute's scholarships).
International students coming from outside EU/EEA for studies at Umeå International School of Public Health have three Swedish scholarship systems available, and they are listed below.
Umeå International School of Public Health (UISPH) scholarships
UISPH is pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships. These scholarships are possible due to the generous financial support of the Erling Persson Foundation. Students who are admitted to the Master Programmes in Public Health will be invited to compete for these scholarships. The scholarships cover the tuition fees.
Umeå University also offers scholarships to international students from outside the EU/EEA. During the present academic year, 5 of the students on the master programmes in public health have been awarded such scholarships, which cover the tuition fees.
The Swedish Institute offers scholarships for Masters' level training within Sweden, which are also open to applicants to the Umeå International School of Public Health's master programmes.
One scholarship programme targets students in countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation. Another scholarship programme is the The Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Region Program/Visby Program. Both scholarships cover both living costs and tuition fees.
