Contents

The course covers mechatronics, and some of its fields of engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering, computer engineering, and mechanical engineering. Prototype building and programming of embedded systems constitute fundamental part of the course.
The practical laboratory work includes control, sensor technology and programming of embedded systems. Even 3D printing of mechanical parts is covered in laboratory work.
The course ends with a larger project, where two or more project teams collaborate. The goal of the project is to design and realize a practical system that highlights the importance of having a complete picture of mechatronics.
The course consists of four parts:
1. Theory, 1.0 ECTS;
2. Laboratory, 2.0 ECTS;
3. Project, 4.0 ECTS;
4. Seminar and Evaluation, 0.5 ECTS.
