Contents

The goal of the course is to give the students a broad and deep understanding of advanced experimental design schemes and their application in chemistry and related fields of natural science. The course includes comprehensive statistical analyses and modelling of data from designed experiments. Designs dealt with is classical statistical experimental designs, Taguchi robust design, D-optimal design, mixture design, designs in principal properties, sequential multivariate design, supersaturated design and rectangular experimental design for multi unit platforms.

Required Knowledge

Chemometrics 15 hp (5KE052/78) or Chemometrics 7,5 hp (5KE053) alternative Experimental Design and Multivariate Data Analysis 7,5 hp (5KE08), or the equivalent.
