Place Ljusgården, Lärarutbildningshuset

Please note: The event is in Swedish.

Umeå University’s values are characterised by three important academic values: academic freedom, academic collegiality and academic integrity. Academic freedom presupposes collegial responsibility and the integrity of our staff. These core academic values enable us to accomplish our mission with quality and credibility. This, in turn, allows us to take social responsibility.

Welcome to a lunch discussion about the university's academic core values and what they can mean for you. The event will also be broadcast on umu.se/live.

Programme

Introduction with associate Professor Annakarin Nyberg, Vice-Chancellor Hans Adolfsson and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Katrine Riklund.

Professor Ulrika Haake presents the work with the academic core values

The discussion will be moderated by Associate Professor Annakarin Nyberg.

At the end of the event, an updated toolkit for core value dialogues will be launched, with everything from game pedagogy to current topics such as psychological safety, mastery techniques, dilemmas in everyday life and ethical considerations.
