The very latest in AI with world-renowned researchers and experts, including Milind Tambe, Professor at Harvard University and Director of Google Research, Paul Lukowicz, Director of the German DFKI, and Ana Paiva, Professor at the University of Lisbon and Harvard University.

TAIGA's Inauguration Conference AI for Good? also offers a wide range of talks including AI in healthcare, AI and law, social AI, AI and Management and what is AI, really? and more, for example:

  • AI-Professor Virginia Dignum, one of the world's leading AI experts will chair a panel discussion on AI and the future of work, with international company representatives such as Boliden, H&M Group and IKEA.
  • Professor Ele Carpenter, Curator of Contemporary Visual Art and Culture, Director of Umarts will moderate an panel discussion on AI and art.
  • For Umeå University students, a hackathon is also organised; "TAIGAthon - transdisciplinary AI research in practice".
  • Exhibition Space where the region's companies and organisations present some of their new AI solutions.
