Who gets to shape the future of AI?

Join the first session in the AI Policy Literacy Course and explore a fundamental question: what is policy, and how does it shape the development and use of AI?

In this introductory session, we will discuss:

  • What policy is and what it is not
  • The difference between policy, regulation and governance
  • The policy cycle
  • Why technical choices are often policy choices

No prior knowledge is required. The seminar series is aimed primarily at students, but everyone with an interest in the topic is warmly welcome, and fika will be provided.

Organiser: TAIGA S4S (Students for Students)
In collaboration with: AI Policy Lab
