Time Wednesday 30 March, 2022 at 13:00 - 15:00
Place Zoom

This lecture covers organizing the discussion section: Introduction, Discussion, Limitations, Recommendations for Future Research, and Conclusions. Language features covered in workshop focus on stance and engagement in the Discussion section and reporting, commenting and suggesting in the Conclusion section.

These are general, non-discipline specific lectures/workshops that focus on elements of writing and language in different sections of the master’s thesis. They are suitable for students who currently are or will soon be writing a master’s thesis.  Instruction and discussions are in English.

Each workshop covers the purpose of and suggestions for how to work with and write different sections in the master’s thesis as well as providing some tips, strategies and resources to help along the way. This series aims to serve as a complement to instructions and information from your department; it does not aim to serve as a substitute for instructions and information from your department.

Activities in the workshops may be carried out as a whole group, in breakout rooms in small groups/pairs, or individually. Active participation is expected.
