Abstract
The "Green" shift has been used as legitimation for increasing encroachments on Sámi lands. This development causes legal disputes, demonstrations, civil disobedience and heated public debates. This talk draws on research from Norway on the media coverage of two of the largest conflicts, the Fosen and Øyfjellet wind power developments, focusing on how the conflicts were framed and narrated in nationwide, local and Sámi media.
