Industrial Proof of Concept: How to create value in your drug development or in vitro diagnostic project

An industrial PoC has high(er) implications and demands in terms of both documentation and data as compared to academia. This is required in order to reach the standardized levels demanded by the national authorities responsible for regulation and surveillance of the development of drugs and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. To be able to plan, implement and evaluate a good industrial PoC, it is also important to have a linguistic understanding where a word in academia can have different meanings in the industry.

UBI, therefore, welcomes you to a one-day seminar and workshop held by Scandinavian Development Service (SDS) to increase your understanding of the demands placed on an industrial PoC. SDS will give you the tools to build an industrial PoC – how to plan and perform a PoC to generate solid data for your publications as well as to improve and create value in the commercialization process of your idea. This day might also bring important knowledge to you that are thinking about the possibility to make a career within the industry.

Participation in the seminar and workshop is open for everyone. For Umeå Biotech Incubator cases/companies participation is mandatory with at least one team member, e.g. person responsible for designing the study protocol/experimental planning.

Scandinavian Development Service offers consultancy within drug development, medical device, combination products and biostatistics. Read more about Scandinavian Development Service here.
