Registration for this workshop is now closed.

These are general, non-discipline specific workshops that focus on elements of writing and language in different sections of the master’s thesis. They are suitable for students who currently are or will soon be writing a master’s thesis.

Each workshop covers the purpose of and suggestions for how to work with and write different sections in the master’s thesis as well as providing some tips, strategies and resources to help along the way. This series aims to serve as a complement to instructions and information from your department; it does not aim to serve as a substitute for instructions and information from your department.

Activities in the workshops may be carried out as a whole group, in breakout rooms in small groups/pairs, or individually. Active participation is expected.

Workshops must be signed up for in advance and space is limited to 15 students/workshop. Students can attend one, several, or all of the workshops. Once you have signed up for the workshop, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Registration is binding and you are expected to attend the workshop.

Please note: The Zoom link, with passcode, to the workshop is e-mailed the morning of each respective workshop.

If a workshop is full, you can e-mail a request to be placed on the waiting list.
