The WASP–HS Queering AI network invites you to a panel on AI, power and human rights.
Come and take part in insightful discussions on topics including representation and power, visibility and invisibility in AI systems and algorithms, and human rights, regulation, and democracy in the digital era. By exemplifying contexts and situations where queer perspectives on AI are important, this panel builds on previous discussions originating from the Queering AI Network, that explored how critical HS perspectives, such as queer theory, can contribute to the AI field.
Panellists: Markus Naarttijärvi: Professor in law at Umeå University, Coppélie Cocq: Professor at Humlab and Professor in Sami studies and Digital Humanities at Umeå University. Matilda Tudor: PhD, Research fellow at the Department of Informatics and Media, at Uppsala University. PI “Queering AI”
