This week's seminar in seminar in Discrete Mathematics is given by Richard Lang, University of Hamburg.
Title: Perfect tilings in hypergraphs
Abstract: A classic result of Dirac provides optimal minimum degree conditions for the existence of a perfect matching. Over the past decades, a comprehensive literature has evolved around generalisations of Dirac's theorem, yet many questions remain widely open.
In this talk, I will introduce the topic and then discuss a general framework to approach this type of problems.
