Professor Antonio Bifulco is based at Middlesex university, London and is the co-director for the Centre of Abuse and Trauma (CATS). Her research is focused on social and lifespan influences on psychological disorder and she has investigated childhood experience, adversity and attachment style intergenerationally. She is an advocate of interview measures including the Attachment Style Interview (ASI) and together with the CATS team runs training courses on the ASI for researchers and clinical practitioners with a focus on attachment style, childhood experience of care and abuse and the parenting role.

Professor Bifulco will present on the Attachment Style Interview (ASI) and how this continues to be used in both clinical research and practice. There may also be a limited number of places to take part in the ASI training during the fall for staff who have an interest in training in the ASI.
