STINT webinar about Teaching Sabbatical

Welcome to a webinar about Teaching Sabbatical - a scholarship programme by STINT, aiming to give researchers and university lecturers international experiences relevant to their teaching role. 

Participating lectures will reside at a higher education institution outside Europe.

Karin Forslund, programme coordianator at STINT, presents the programme, and gives advice on the application. 

Jesper Enbom, associate professor at the Department of Culture and Media Studies  and Thomas Mejtoft, associate professor at the Department of Applied Physics and Electronic, talk about their experiences from particiapting int  the programme.

The information session starts at 12.00 but it is possible to connect to zoom at 11.30 to participate in a digital "lunch mingle".

The seminar is given in English if needed.

Observe! Researchers and teachers cannot apply for the scholarship directly with Stint, they need to be nominated by Umeå University. Interested candidates must be nominated to the International Office, by the Director of Studies at the department, or the Head of the Department. The announcement opens in May and the nomination deadline is 24 August 2020.

Writing workshop ahead of the application

On 25 May at 15–16.30, a writing workshop via zoom is organised for thise who are interested in applying to the programme. Previous participants will attend. A registration form and link to zoom will be published at a later event.
