The HESSD seminar (The History and Education/Social Studies Didactics Seminar) gives a symposium on the theme “Vocational Education in Historical Perspectives.”
The symposium is organized in collaboration with the Department of Education at Umeå University.
About the Seminar Series
In The History and Education/Social Studies Didactics Seminar, we discuss educational history and social studies didactics research. This includes areas like childhood and education, curriculum studies, and the formation and teaching of the social studies in schools. It also includes issues of history culture, history consciousness and use of history as part of different identities, also outside schools.
