Webinar: A presentation of A Beginner’s Guide to Swedish Academia

In this webinar, we will launch a newly published guide for newcomers to Swedish academia.

We will present a short overview of the guide, including an overview of academic positions in Sweden, the government’s research strategy, funding opportunities, the structure of undergraduate education, the importance of the Swedish language, and some practical information about living in Sweden. We conclude the webinar with ample time for a Q&A session.

A Beginner’s Guide to Swedish Academia

– A guide to the Swedish research system, about what applies to qualifications, what the networks look like, but also about practical issues. The guide is intended for international researchers, to help navigate Swedish academia and remove time-consuming obstacles, however, many beyond the target group will find the guide very useful.
