To mark the culmination of almost five years of transnational efforts to combat Zika virus, we are hosting a series of open access public webinars featuring some of the key participants in this global health study. We welcome you to join us and discuss what our findings mean both in terms of the lessons learned from the 2015-2016 epidemic, and in the current context of global public health concerns.
Join leading contributors and participants from our global consortia as we reflect on what we now know about Zika virus and arboviruses in general, and the broader implications for how the world might more effectively respond to future outbreaks. You will also hear from the researchers who developed some of the pioneering databases and bio-banking systems that have been pivotal to our work in understanding Zika. Including time for Q&As with our panellists. With key note presentations from our partners ZikaAlliance and ZikaAction, Xavier de Lamballerie, Carlos Giaquinto, Trudie Lang , Helen Dolk , Rosanna Peeling and Bart Jacobs.
ZikaPLAN has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement number 734584 and works closely with two other European Union-funded consortia, ZIKAction and ZIKAlliance.
