Taylor & Francis

Umeå University researchers can publish open access at no cost in Taylor & Francis journals. Read more about the terms of our agreement with the publisher for 2023 and what it means for you here.

The open access publishing fee has been pre-paid through an agreement between the library and Taylor & Francis. The agreement applies to open access publishing in Taylor & Francis hybrid journals ("Open Select") and in those open access journals that charge a publication fee, with the exception of journals from Dove Medical Press that are not included in the agreement.

Terms and conditions

  • You must be the corresponding author, i.e., the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
  • Your Umeå University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
  • Use your university e-mail ending with @umu.se. The e-mail domain is often used to recognize your eligibility.
  • The agreement applies to the article types “original paper” and “review paper” (article, research article, review and review article).
  • Your article will be published under a CC BY license or a CC BY-NC-ND license.

How the publishing process works

Upon acceptance, Taylor & Francis will automatically identify your Umeå University affiliation. Your affiliation will then be verified by the library before publication.
