1.5 MSEK for research from the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund
Sofie Degerman has been granted funding for her research within the field of childhood leukemia.
Together with her colleagues Magnus Hultdin and Ulrika Noren Nyström she has been granted 1.5 MSEK for her project within the field of childhood leukemia.
Acute Lymphatic Leukemia (ALL) is the most common form of childhood cancer.
The main goal of the project is to study the biological cell mechanisms that causes the different DNA methylation patterns which are found at diagnostics and what impact this has regarding relapse risk among the patients.
