ImageIda BergmarkWe are currently looking for new ambassadors who want to share their international experiences with other students, inspire others to go on exchange or internship somewhere in the world, and work and have fun together with us.
“We want more students to discover the opportunity to go abroad. As an ambassador, you are an important part of that effort,” says Ida Bergmark, International Coordinator at the International Office.
We have a team of 5–6 student ambassadors working on behalf of the International Office at the university. Together with staff, the team works to inspire students to study abroad during their studies.
As an ambassador, your role is to share your own international experience, inform students about where they can go for exchange studies or Erasmus internships, and explain how the process works.
We usually do this at information desks around campus, at the Welcome Fair, and during information sessions and student meetings. Student ambassadors may also help out at events for both Swedish and international students.
We are looking for someone who:
We expect ambassadors to be able to participate regularly during the semester, on average up to two activities per month. It is important for us to be able to rely on your participation when planning our activities.
You will become part of a team of around five ambassadors and receive a short training from International Office staff before starting.
You will be paid hourly for your work. You will also receive a certificate at the end of your assignment that you can add to your CV.
