NEWS The independent Swedish health care industry watcher Dagens Medicin has ranked the University Hospital of Umeå, NUS, the Best University Hospital in Sweden for 2016. The evaluation is based upon seven categories: medical quality, accessibility, hygiene, patient surveys, bedsores, overcrowding and finances.
The University Hospital in Umeå has the highest number of satisfied patients among university hospital health care based upon patient surveys. Umeå University and the University Hospital of Umeå are located side by side and have extensive collaborations in both education and research.
