Apply for EC2U short-term mobility grants on sustainable cities and communities

As part of the European Campus of City-Universities (EC2U), a call for applications is now open for a seed mobility programme on sustainable cities and communities. Master's and doctoral students can apply anytime through 15 March 2027.
Aim: To stimulate interdisciplinary and scientific networking between the EC2U universities and support the initiation of future research projects and publications through a 5-day mobility at one EC2U partner university. Target group: Master’s thesis students, PhD students, and researchers interested in developing research in one of the selected topics listed below. Topics of interest: Sustainable reuse of buildings, Urban environment and health, Energy efficiency and sustainability at urban scales, Heat waves and thermal comfort in cities, Sustainable and clean energy supply, Local Energy Communities and energy networks, Indoor environmental quality, Earth surface processes, Geospatial modelling, Sustainable urban governance, Green infrastructure, Waste management, Urban Heat Island detection and mitigation, Nature-based solutions
Mobility grant: €1,265. Number of grants available: 12 How to apply: applicants should complete the application form and submit it to ec2u@umu.se. Deadline to submit proposals: Anytime until 15 March 2027, or at least 60 days before the planned travel dates. The mobility must take place no later than June 15, 2027.
