Future Forest acknowledged internationally for its interdisciplinary and innovative collaborations

The largest forest research programme in Sweden – Future Forests – is on the home straight. In an international evaluation, the programme was acknowledged to have created a good atmosphere for interdisciplinary research collaborations and collaborations with society. The evaluators are further encouraging all efforts to uphold all of what has been established within the scope of the programme.

What is Future Forest?
Future Forests is a research programme initiated by Mistra, the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) is host and the programme is a joint initiative between SLU, Umeå University och Skogforsk.
