Governmental decision on Umeå University Board members

The Swedish Government has, according to a proposal presented by the Umeå University Nomination Committee, reached a decision on a new Umeå University Board from 1 May 2016 until 30 April 2017. The only change to the Board is the replacement of one member.

The Swedish Government has reached the decision to call for a re-election of chairman and all members of the University Board apart from Kjell Asplund, who declined re-election. He will instead be replaced by Olle Stendahl, professor at Linköping University.
