NEWS For the second consecutive year, the Umeå Union of Students is arranging the Headhunt job fair. On Thursday the 2nd of April, Headhunt 2009 will take place at Lindell Hall, Umeå University. A broad selection of companies, government agencies and organisations will be eager to meet with talented students.
Headhunt 2009 is arranged primarily for members in the Umeå Union of Students, so the particpating companies will be mainly targeted to students in the academic fields of social sciences, arts and humanities, teaching, business and economics, or behavioural sciences. Nevertheless, all students are welcome to attend the job fair.
At Headhunt 2009, students will have the tremendous opportunity to meet face to face with job providers. This is an ideal chance personally to hand out copies of your CV to key individuals, arrange degree project assignments and job placements, or simply to network. This is the chance to make contacts with those individuals that just might open the door in this competitive job market.
In addition to the vast selection of companies, government agencies and organisations, there will be lectures, seminars and other arrangements including a panel debate with representatives from Umeå University, Swedbank, Malmö Aviation, the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, and Umeå Municipality.
