International master's student captures stunning northern lights photo

Tomoya Suzuki from Japan, currently enrolled in the master's degree programme in tourism at Umeå University, took a breathtaking photograph of the northern lights (aurora borealis) at Lake Nydala last evening.
Within 30 minutes of the posting on the Umeå University facebook page, there has already been an impressive viral effect.
Auroral activity is expected to be very high this year and Umeå is ideal location to witness the northern lights. It is more typical to see this phenomenon in the darker months of winter.
Update - 8 October 2013: This has been the one of the most viral facebook posts since the Umeå University page was started in 2009, with over 29,000 views, 500 likes and 249 shares.
