Jenny Svender was an invited speaker at a sports conference

Jenny Svender, whose expertise lies in gender and organization in sport, was an invited speaker at the conference Women’s Situation in Sport – From Pioneers to Champions, organized by RF-SISU Västra Götaland and the University of Gothenburg on 24 August.
During the conference, Jenny gave a lecture on the development of leadership in sport, entitled Who Takes the Field?. She also participated in the closing panel discussion.
The conference marked the 100th anniversary of the Women’s World Games, which took place in Gothenburg, and brought together participants from, among others, the sports movement, academia, politics and the public sector to discuss women’s conditions and opportunities in sport.
