Margit Schratzenstaller in panel discussion at the Austrian Society of European Politics

NEWS In November, the Austrian Society of European Politics published the book “25 Ideas for Europe”. On December 13, the society organised a panel discussion to follow up themes from the book.

The topic of the discussion was: “In times of populism: Do constructive ideas about future EU-integration still have a chance?”. FairTax researcher Margit Schratzenstaller was part of the panel, together with Ulrike Guérot, Danube University Krems, Elisabeth Hagen, The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies and Melanie Sully from the Go-Governance Institute.

In the panel, Margit Schratzenstaller stressed the integrative potential of a stronger EU-wide coordination of tax policy. Read more and see photos from the event at: http://oegfe.at/wordpress/2016/12/europa-club-wien-in-zeiten-des-populismus-haben-konstruktive-ideen-zur-zukunft-der-eu-integration-noch-ein-chance/
