NEWS The application statistics for admission in the autumn semester of 2025 show a positive outcome for the Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics, with the number of first-choice applicants increasing by nearly 9 percent compared to last year.
In the Swedish application round, the total number of first-choice applicants to our programs increased by nearly 9 percent. In contrast, Umeå University as a whole saw an increase of around 3 percent, while the national figure was about 3.5 percent. Particularly significant increases were noted for Civilekonomprogrammet, Civilekonomprogrammet med inriktning mot handel och logistik, and Civilekonomprogrammet med inriktning mot Service Management.
