Umeå University has the aim to offer Sweden’s best environments for studies and work. This ambition has resulted in the opening of the Service Centre Lindell Hall- and information centre for the entire campus community.
“We want to simplify the everyday life for everyone on campus; visitors, students and staff, and make it more apparent for those who have issues where they can turn. Therefore, we have compiled information and services in an all-access service centre. This is the first centre of four to open,” says Head of Administration Siv Olofsson.
The service centre includes a staffed reception, an information corner with brochures and computers for self-service with information in Swedish and English. It is located in Lindell Hall, situated in the Social Sciences Building near the University Library.
Service Centre Lindell Hall will offer assistance among the following: • Information about Umeå University • Copying and printing • Building maintenance and reservations of rooms/locales • Technical and equipment/furnishing • Access cards • Cleaning services • Ordering of office supplies and university profile products • Service at conference and events
The opening will be held on Friday 13 February at 12:30 pm.
