Become an EC2U Student Ambassador!

Apply for the opportunity to become an EC2U Student Ambassador and represent Umeå University in a dynamic European university alliance. As an ambassador, you will gain international experience, develop valuable communication skills, and become part of an active network of engaged students from across Europe.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the role, you need to:

• Be enrolled as a student at Umeå University during the 2026–2027 academic year
• Not have planned exchange studies during the same academic year
• Have a good command of English (minimum B2 level)
• Be interested in communication, student engagement, and social media
• Be able to participate in a mandatory ambassador training in France, 2–6 November 2026 (Travel and accommodation are covered through a mobility grant)
• It is an advantage if you also have good knowledge of Swedish

What does the role involve?

As an EC2U Student Ambassador, you help promote EC2U activities at your home university and engage with fellow students by:

• Creating and sharing content, for example on social media
• Communicating about EC2U opportunities, events, and activities
• Acting as a local contact point for students interested in EC2U
• Encouraging student participation in EC2U initiatives
