NEWS On 3 May, this year’s TEDxUmeå kicks off again. It will be the fourth time the event is organised in Umeå, this time attracting 400 participants over an afternoon and evening full of inspiration. The event usually covers areas such as research, music, sex role debate, creativity and life style presented by local, national and international speakers.
TEDxUmeå is Umeå’s proudest place to meet, an important and open-minded stage for ideas worth spreading from around the World. TEDxUmeå is all for challenging people to think and rethink. Umeå houses exciting and committed individuals who stand ready to change the World, and who believe it’s possible to strengthen Umeå’s position as a progressive role model.
We are looking for volunteers to complement the team and create a pleasant and successful place to meet. As a volunteer, you would help us by building the stage, host the meet, market the event, film and arrange sponsorships. Are you a committed student with an abundance of ideas and who likes to meet new people? Let us know if that person is you, by sending an email to malin.vikstrom@umu.se, with a few lines about yourself and what you would be interested in helping us out with.
