NEWS You can now use a template to create research collaboration agreements where all collaborating parties are Swedish higher education institutions. The template may be used if Umeå University's contribution to the collaboration is less than SEK 3 million.
Use a template when setting up research collaboration agreements with other Swedish universities.
ImageIda ÅbergThe purpose of the template is to facilitate the agreement process for smaller research projects involving collaboration only with other higher education institutions in Sweden. In research collaborations between higher education institutions, an agreement may, for example, be needed if one party administers funding that will be distributed to the other parties, or if the funder requires an agreement between the parties. If you use the template, the agreement must be signed by the Head of Department at your department. The agreement may not be signed by the researcher.
If you collaborate with organisations other than Swedish higher education institutions, or if Umeå University's financial contribution exceeds SEK 3 million, please contact the Legal Affairs Office for assistance in preparing an agreement. You may also contact the Legal Affairs Office if you have questions about the template.
Since the template is designed for collaborations between Swedish higher education institutions it is only available in Swedish.
