Text: Marie Oskarsson

The Nordic Graduate School Network for Teacher Education Relevant Research (NorTED) is a newly started cooperation between the nine universities Åbo Akademi University (Finland), DPU Aarhus University (Denmark), University of Iceland (Iceland), Umeå University and Dalarna University (Sweden) and University of Tromsø/UiT – The Arctic University of Norway, West Norway University of Applied Sciences, University of South-East Norway, and Norwegian University of Science and technology/NTNU (Norway).

The scientific aim of the Graduate School Network is to strengthen postgraduate training and research on areas relevant for teacher education in the Nordic context, for example by facilitating exchange and cooperation in research between the universities, and by providing jointly organized educational activities on doctoral level.

The Graduate School network will once a year organize seminar days including lectures, workshops and doctoral courses. The first seminar days will be held at NTNU in Trondheim, in November 2019.
