Umeå University’s Study Survey 2010

NEWS The purpose of this survey is to find out more about how students at Umeå University feel about their studies and conditions of study. The results of the investigation will serve as an important starting point for developing areas that are of significance to students.

The study survey is carried out as a paper-based questionnaire for our campus students, and a web-based questionnaire for students following distance or web-based education. Answers will be handled in such a way that the personal integrity of responders is protected. The survey has been compiled by a working party that included student union representatives. Data will be gathered between 12-23 April 2010, and the results of the survey will be ready in June 2010.

For students following distance or web-based education:

To reach the study survey, sign in to the portal (Portalen) at www.student.umu.se. After entering the portal, click the tab "Studentinfo" (in case that is not the tab that is automatically active when you sign in to the portal). To change langauge into English, click "In English" at the bottom of the menu at the page. At the start page of the "Student info" tab, you will find a red web ad with the text "Make your voice heard! Study Survey 2010" that directs you to the page where you can choose between four surveys: one concerning courses not included in a study programme, one concerning courses included in a study programme, and the two equivalent surveys in Swedish. It will take you about 15 minutes to answer the questions in one survey.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Nils Eriksson (nils.eriksson@adm.umu.se) or Boa Drammeh (boa.drammeh@adm.umu.se).

Thank you for your participation!
