USBE have signed a partner agreement with Swedish House of Finance
NEWS
The Umeå School of Business and Economics (USBE) have signed a partner agreement with Swedish House of Finance (SHoF). The agreement, that runs until June 30, 2019, enable USBE as a ”SHoF Academic Partner” to enjoy three programs:
The SHoF Visiting Program is designed to enhance interaction between researchers in Sweden and abroad by offering a workplace at the premises of the Swedish House of Finance (Stockholm). Visitors are expected to take part in the activities of the center, and enjoy access to common services (e.g. availability to databases at SHoF). A visit can be either short-term (weeks up to a few months) or long-term (a semester or an academic year).
The SHoF Fellowship Program is designed to support recruiting and retention of faculty on the international job market. The purpose is to use SHoF resources to enhance a job offer in order to match (or get closer to) a competing offer from another international institution.
The SHoF Publication Incentive Program rewards researchers at SHoF Academic Partners for publications of finance articles in a select group of leading academic finance and economics journals. The publication reward (currently equal to SEK 100,000 + 100,000/n, where n is the number of authors of the article) is paid to a researcher, employed by a SHoF Partner university, who publishes an article in the field of finance in one of the following journals: Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, American Economic Review (excluding AER Papers and Proceedings), Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Review of Economic Studies.
