NEWS The USBE pedagogical prize in 2018 is awarded to Galina Biedenbach, Business Administration.
Galina Biedenbach is awarded the pedagogical Prize for her pedagogical efforts that challenges students while supporting student learning.
In her courses, Galina uses a variety of different teaching activities that support both groups’ and individual students’ learning. The approach makes it possible for Galina to see and support individual students also in larger classes.
Her use of real cases and interactive exercises create possibilities for students to test and apply their acquired knowledge. One example of successful work with such experiential learning is the course on advanced level on strategic marketing planning where students write marketing plans for organizations.
Galina’s engagement in developing teaching and pedagogy is not only evident to her students but also to colleagues through her engagement in program development and assessment committees.
The prize will be handed out at the Graduation Ceremony June 1st.
