Project description

IRISCC tackles climate change risks by working hand-in-hand with users and stakeholders. Our mission is to empower society to understand, predict and build resilience to climate change risks through innovative research infrastructure services. IRISCC brings together a diverse network of RIs, spanning environmental and social sciences across various domains. This collaboration allows us to offer a comprehensive suite of services, acting as a one-stop shop for researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders engaged in climate change risk management.

IRISCC is an abbreviation for "Integrated Research Infrastructure Services for Climate Change Risks". The project focuses on the effects of climate change and the challenges it leads to. It is coordinated by the Natural Resources Institute Finland (LUKE) and brings together 80 partners from all over Europe.
