Research project New targets to block neuron-to-glioma synapses in glioblastoma: disrupting malignant gene regulatory networks.
Glioblastoma is an aggressive brain tumour driven in part by direct communication with neurons. We aim to break this connection by targeting the gene regulatory networks that enable neuron–tumour synapses. Combining state-of-the-art genomics, single-cell analysis and targeted protein degradation, we seek new ways to disrupt tumour progression and make glioblastoma more treatable.
