Students' Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence

Research project Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transcended its status as a mere contemporary buzzword and established itself as a disruptive technology impacting all facets of modern society. It is vital to understand how it is perceived and understood by future leaders in technology and education.

This research project will explore students' perspectives on AI. Using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, we aim to comprehensively understand students' perceptions and opinions about AI, its potential advantages and disadvantages, and its role within their respective disciplines. The project's outcomes will contribute to shaping future pedagogical strategies and policy guidelines for AI in higher education.

Project description

This research project will explore students' perspectives on AI. The project collaborates with Rasmus Leijon from Clear Street Markets LLC and Leif Olsson from Mid Sweden University. The study focuses on students from two specific disciplines: Industrial Economics and Management and the Teacher Program, with a specialization in Mathematics. This is aimed at deepening our understanding of how these two distinct student groups perceive AI and how they anticipate AI will influence their future professional lives.
