The open access publishing fee (APC, article processing charge) has been pre-paid through an agreement between the library and the Microbiology Society. The agreement applies to open access publishing in hybrid and open access journals from the Microbiology Society.
Terms and conditions
- You must be the corresponding author, i.e., the one handling communication with the publisher and journal.
- Your Umeå University affiliation must be stated in the published article.
- You must use your university email ending with @umu.se in order to be identified as an Umeå University affiliated author.
- The agreement applies to articles accepted by the publisher in 2024 or 2025 (“acceptance date” during 2024-2025).
- The agreement applies to primary research papers (papers, special issue papers, reviews and letters).
- Your article will be published under a CC BY license or, alternatively, a CC BY-NC license.
- The agreement does not cover additional charges, such as page charges or charges for colour illustrations.
