My research investigates processes linking labour market inequalities, family life and wellbeing using methods for causal inference.
I work as an Associate Professor (docent) at the Department of Sociology. My research interests concern processes at the intersection of labour market, family as well as health and well-being of family members. Currently I work as the principal investigator of the project "The impact of the number of siblings on child health" financed by the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (FORTE). This project uses register data and methods for causal inference to further our understanding of the impact of family size on health. I am also a member of the steering committee of the project "Social Exclusion of Youth in Europe: Cumulative Disadvantage, Coping Strategies, Effective Policies and Transfer" funded from Horizon 2020 programme. In this project we investigate how labour market exclusion affects health, wellbeing and autonomy of young people.Close
