Charlotte is a doctoral student exploring Indigenous storytelling in digital spaces, with a particular focus on Sámi communities. Her research examines how digital platforms are used to shape expressions of community, land, and culture, and how digital systems can be designed to support Indigenous ways of knowing.

This research is in collaboration with Lapin Yliopisto and Sámi Allaskulva, as part of the project "Indigenous Storytelling with New Media" funded by Interreg Aurora. The project aims to empower Indigenous communities to document their own stories through the development of tailored education and training programs in audiovisual and film sectors. This initiative seeks to preserve Indigenous cultures while creating employment opportunities with educational and industry partnerships, enhancing media skills, promoting Sámi culture, and fostering cross-border connections in Sápmi.
