My preferred name is Dany Waller. I am a PhD student in the Computational Space Physics research group where I study Mercury's magnetosphere. I am interested in field topology, induced and remanent magnetization, and geological implications of plasma precipitation on the surface.

I was previously a staff scientist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from 2021-2025 where I worked on missions such as Europa Clipper, Lunar Vertex, Relativistic Electron Atmospheric Loss (REAL) Cubesat, and the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART). I completed a Master's degree in Applied Physics in 2022 from Johns Hopkins University, and was a post-baccalaureate researcher at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from 2020-2021.
