I am a registered nurse with a Master's degree in anaesthesiology. As a PhD student, my research aims to explore whether simulation training that implements mixed reality technology can provide learning opportunities of necessary skills needed for effective mass casualty incident response among emergency medical responders. My goal is to contribute to the advancement of simulation training and preparedness for major incidents. In November, I will be defending my thesis with the title Learning through mixed reality: Emergency medical responders' perspectives on training for mass casualty incidents.
