My main research interests lie in the field of public procurement, environmental policy evaluation, design and implementation, consumer preferences and producer behaviour.
In 2021, I defended my doctoral thesis with the title “Food for Thought: Essays on Green Public Procurement and the Market for Organic Food”. Within the dissertation, I studied the functioning of public procurement as an instrument of environmental policy, consumer demand for organic food, and price transmission in the organic foods market. I am also the co-author of two scientific reports regarding public procurement.
I currently hold a project assistant position at the department of Economics at Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics. I am involved in several projects regarding public procurement, and the use of public procurement as an instrument of environmental policy. I am also involved in a 3-year research project where we study how the green transition within energy intensive sectors in Sweden affects labor demand, substitution among different input factors, and regional differences in labor demand effects
